pretty pictures: an ode to iowa

this past weekend i trekked out to iowa to attend a wedding with one of my best friends from college.  needless to say, i already miss her terribly.  and iowa.  i don't know how many of you have been to iowa, but it is beautiful.  truly, truly beautiful - especially in the autumn.  just look:

 

don't worry chicago, i still love you.... but iowa will always have a place in my heart.
